A brief excerpt: Damien stepped over to me, took my hand, raised it to his lips, and kissed it. “I’ve already said it, but it deserves to be said again. You’re always beautiful, but you’re especially beautiful tonight.” “And you’re handsome enough to bring Mass Ave traffic to a screeching halt.” “How about Newbury Street traffic?” he joked. “Newbury Street? I’d have to beat the women off you. As your girlfriend, I should just put a bag over your head, but doing that would only redirect their attention to this.” I cupped his generous package. My face flushed at my own boldness, but why shouldn’t I want this? I loved him. I leaned forward and kissed him on the lips, but didn’t move my hand. Instead, I gave the bulge in his jeans a little squeeze. Damien gripped my hips and pulled me against him. “If you keep doing that, this might not be able to wait until after dinner.” “Who said anything about waiting?” “We do have a dinner reservation at 29 Newbury—in an hour.” I traced my fingers over his erection. “Then we’ll just have to be quick, won’t we?” I reached for the waistband of his 501s and began to undo the buttons. His eyes widened. “What’s gotten into you?” I leaned forward and kissed him again. “What’s gotten into me? I love you, and you look amazing. I can’t even begin to think about dinner, because all I can think about right now is tearing off your clothes. I’m already on cloud nine, but you might be able to take me to nine-and-a-half.” His lips parted in a slow smile. “That sounds like a challenge.” “Maybe it is.”
