Over the New Years holiday I had the itch to change our chandler, since we are getting a new dining room table, chairs and bench. (They are on order right now). So I took our old drab chandler and added smaller light bulbs and blue mason jars using the lids as their base. I then turned the arms of the chandler so the lights were facing up, instead of facing down and made the transformation. Below is the finished product with the lights on and off. It is so cool when the lights are on the shadows and the slight blue color is beautiful. The shadows are from the lettering on the jars. This project cost us about $20.00 total: $9.99 for the jars, $5.00 for paint, $5.00 for a special drill bit. I love doing my DIY projects. :)
