Over the last 10 years I have tried to treat customers fairly and not over charge them. During that time I have found that people want a Ferrari for the price of a 10 year old rusted out Ugo. Regardless I never turned down a project and always gave people much more than they paid for. Spending 1000s of hours to compete against a fast food world of template web sites and cookie cutter crap. Unfortunately I just cant do it anymore. After I finish my current projects, Im temporarily shutting down Cyber1. I will honor current customers pre-paid hosting and assist them in finding a new company to work with. Ultimately this decision was my own fault, I just dont like to tell people no and in doing so I have severely under quoted job after job. I will no longer be doing anything as a sponsor, free, at a discount or for trade. Ive always maintained that helping people was a big enough reward to make up for the free stuff I was giving them. Well the help I provide is rarely appreciated and gotten to the point where it is anticipated and a thankless job.
