Over the last few months, students from NPS International School have been taking time off to volunteer at ACRES. They have been an enthusiastic bunch, lending a helping hand in a variety of projects. They have helped us clean our sanctuary premises and plant/transplant plants and even lay bricks.Over the last few weeks, they also helped us to prepare our new night dens for use by varnishing them. Last week, they made their last visit to ACRES for 2014. The students were tasked to prepare some dietary enrichments for our animals. Some of them even put their creative skills to use by helping us touch up our faded ACRES Sanctuary signboard. We hope the students have enjoyed their volunteering time at the sanctuary and have learnt more about the illegal wildlife trade. We thank them for all their hard work towards making a difference for the animals! Cheers!
