Over the last nine years, many of you, our wonderful Three Dog - TopicsExpress

Over the last nine years, many of you, our wonderful Three Dog Bakery patrons, have come to love the bakery as much for our wonderful pups as for the delectable food and treats. Most of you look forward to seeing the jacks running around, taste testing behind the counter; and you always offer a friendly pat on the head or stretch out your arm for a kiss on the hand. Some of you have your favorites that you ask to hold for a moment when you visit. And many of you buy extra bakery treats to give to our pups. For all of this, we are grateful. Your patronage and friendship have given us a life with our dogs that wouldnt have been possible otherwise. So we felt it important to share with you that last night we lost our precious Ripley, who at 16-and-a-half was fighting to stay with us despite some serious age-related health issues. Thanks to aggressive expert intervention in March from her wonderful family of doctors, technicians, and staff at Cheyenne West Animal Hospital--in coordination with her internist, surgeon, nurses, and staff at the Specialty Care Center--she beat all odds to remain with us for the nine glorious months since. And if you joined us for holiday photos, you know she was with us for the fun events. But in recent weeks, she developed complications that were at last too much even for her to overcome. Last night, after a call from the hospital, we raced to reach her in time to stroke her soft fur, rub her all over, give her many (but never enough) kisses, and feel her warmth against our skin. Then at 8:45, we told our precious Baby Bear what a wonderful, loyal, gentle, sweet, brilliant, strong girl she has been and said, See you soon, and she passed into Gods loving arms. For us, the wait to hold her again will be an eternity; but for her, only an instant. Ripley illuminated our souls and touched the hearts of all who knew her. Our lives will be forever autumn until we hold her again. Thank you all for helping us to give her and all our pups the best, longest, healthiest, happiest lives possible. We hope you enjoy these pictures, which give a glimpse into a life beautifully lived.
