Over the past couple months San Jacinto Police have taken several reports of Southern California Edison scams. The scammers will call unsuspecting individuals and claim they had not paid their electric bill and it will be shut off if they dont pay immediately by purchasing a prepaid credit card and providing the number over the phone.
