Over the past couple of months, I, like most of Kaduna State - TopicsExpress

Over the past couple of months, I, like most of Kaduna State citizens have been caught up in the whirlwind and euphoria of (CHANGE), that is to say, we need a new Governor come 2015. We’ve been tracking the activities of Ramalan Yero and most of us are soo disappointed by the activities of this young man that fate brought into power. As disappointed as we are; most of us have been trying and working hard to determine who will be elected as Kaduna State Governor come 2015. We have been watching the activities of Governor Ramalan Yero over the past one and a half year & his government; I still cannot believe that the very learned and vibrant Kaduna State citizens could sit back and watch Ramalan Yero occupying such office and using it to treat the people of Kaduna with so much contempt and disdain. It brings so much sadness and outrage anytime I try to figure out what is happening in my state. I still cannot fathom how one man could find the mind of hate to do those contemptuous activities to the people of Kaduna State and most especially Southern Kaduna. As I watch, hear and read more and more about the tragedies such as squandering our state resources trying to marry more wives, abandoning all projects embarked upon by our late PIY, buying of wheelbarrows to alleviate poverty, careless attitudes towards the killings in Southern Kaduna, using state resources to buy and share God forsaken rice, indomie, spaghetti e.t.c; I grow more and more frustrated, not just frustrated: outraged by such acts. Therefore I/we refuse to sit here and be content with a world where all these atrocities are possible. Unfortunately, we cannot go back and change the past, but what a privilege and opportunity; we can change the future and that is exactly what is coming to Kaduna State come May 29th 2015. We have no influence over what has already happened, but we are working towards preventing future mismanagement, squandermania & other tragedies that has befallen us as a people. We are promoting acceptance for CHANGE and that we shall have come 2015. Our network seems eager and ready to advocate for change here in Kaduna State until it finally arrives come 2015. Yet in the midst of our euphoria over the CHANGE that we are hoping for, we should continually be reminded of why the CHANGE is so greatly needed in our State at this moment. Only days after the demise of PIY, Dalatun Zazzau used his might to pursue everyone that has ever been close to PIY, he equally revoked all the contracts embarked upon by PIY (especially from the Southern part of the state) and that was to establish a one sided government that could act with so much impunity. The death of Sir PIY alone should serve as a pointer and reminder that if this young man called Ramalan Yero can be this wicked to our people knowing fully well that he is not an elected governor; what then will happen if he is eventually elected into power? (GOD FORBID). All of us should think ahead and liberate ourselves from the slavery that is looming in the nearest future.
