Over the past few days (Nov. 5 - 9) Donna and I travelled to the Boston area with a dear friend of ours, Adele Friel Rhindress, to attend The Yankee Gathering - New England Magic Collectors Association Convention. Adele was an onstage assistant to the Great Harry Blackstone Sr. from 1947 - 1950 and she played the role of the Elusive Moth in a featured illusion in his Show of 1001 Wonders. While at this years convention another friend of ours, Rory Feldman, video taped Adele watching a silent video of an original film reel of the Blackstone Sr. show and describing the various acts in the show -- including the only known video record of her own Elusive Moth act! Adele is one of our favorite people and a great friend to everyone that has the pleasure to know her. Donna had the pleasure of assisting Rory and Adele with the production of the video and I think it was the highlight of the convention for her. Please like and share the video.
