Over the past few weeks there have been about five (that I have seen) new cats in my yard! To me, they seem to be stray cats as opposed to feral, simply because 4/5 are not skinny, and they look like hell! (indicative of stray vs. feral) For some reason my colony is not accepting any of these newcomers! Perhaps they somehow know that we cannot afford any more mouths to feed. I go through 18 cans of cat food per DAY, plus two huge buckets of dry food! Just feeding these poor cats is going to bankrupt me! If anyone I know is dumping cats off in my yard... you are an asshole! I have actually had people I know in person tell me that they have considered dropping their cats off at my house (one person actually asked permission to do so). You have to be some kind of special f*cking stupid to even consider it!!!! Tonight again, the temperature has dipped to -20.... no matter how well insulated, how much straw is in a shelter... do you really think its pleasant out there?????
