Over the past few years I have received a great deal of praise for the success of Blaze Of Glory and recently for the book Tribute It is important that everyone know where the credit for this success should be bestowed. Lhesa Michele Cressey and her family: I lived in Lhesa’s parents’ basement for a few years and Lhesa had to work while I was going to university. Lhesa and her family supported me while all I was able to contribute was my student loans, scholarships, and whatever money I made from odd jobs that I could find (and stay awake for) during my six years of study. I am eternally grateful for everything that they did to keep me alive and it is very likely I wouldn’t have survived without them. Thank you Lhesa Cressey, Mike Cressey, and Donna Donna Secord Cressey. You are absolutely amazing. Even in recent years, Lhesa has had to stay in the workforce to help support our family as I have not made enough money to do this on my own or to allow Lhesa to be a stay-at-home mom. I don’t know if I emphasized this point enough in my book, but Lhesa tolerated a great deal of personal sacrifice during the formative years of building Blaze Of Glory and she deserves a lion’s share of the credit for the success the band enjoys today. On behalf of myself and the guys in the band, thank you so much, Lhesa. Darcy Nybo: If it weren’t for Darcy I would have never been published and Tribute would probably never exist. Yes, I wrote the book (I find it flattering that people have suggested that “Tribute” is so well-written a ghost writer must have been involved – thank you – I am honored. I guess my university years paid off after all…) The editors – Darcy Nybo, Patrick Moore, Julie Frayne, Robert Juneau, (and some other proof readers and editors who I don’t even know) reduced my initial draft of 600 pages down to 320 pages. This must have been a hellacious task and I am so very grateful for your contributions. Thank you, everyone. So now, Blaze Of Glory and “Tribute” Fans and my colleagues have lavished a lot of praise on me for my accomplishments and I hope you can all see where the credit is actually due. I am eternally grateful for all of your hard work.
