Over the past several days, so many memories of my Mom have filled my mind. If those of you that did know her had to say something about her, I believe you would say she was a Mountain Mover. She made things happen that no one else would even think of. From leaving a secure job with the state to start Panhandle Home Health and then 5 years later leave that position to start Hospice of the Panhandle to loving and carrying for people non-stop. If you wanted a job done, just call Mom. If she couldnt do, she knew someone who could. I always said if I could grow up to be half the women/mother that she was I would consider my life a success. No matter how hard I tried she kept raising the bar. She lived a life by example that taught me to see the dream that God has put before me and to obey the call He had placed in front me. This example is one of the reasons Horses with Hearts exist. She never let me quit or give up when things seemed impossible. So..with all of that being said, I hope you will help me honor her spirit. Our mission is solid and goals are set. Help me meet one of our goals by this spring by making a donation (doesnt matter how big or how small) to Horses with Hearts in her memory. This will allow us to move one of the following mountains: run-ins for the horses (we still need funds for 1 more), automatic frost freeze waters, a wash rack and bathroom facilities, lights poles for our arena. To be honest, each one of these feels like a mountain to me right now. Help move a mountain in her memory. I promise just as she has blessed you, you will bless someone else and that is the best way to honor her memory.
