Over the years I have gathered a number of images of the Johnston House from various books and periodicals. I thought you might enjoy seeing a few of them. Most of the books they are taken from are out of print. These particular photos come from the Charlotte Reeve Conover book, Concerning the Forefathers published in 1901. If you look closely, you can see Hebe Gedney Johnston standing in front of her grandparents house along with other relatives. I believe she had come to lay a wreath at her fathers grave. Hebe was the daughter of Stephen Johnston, John and Rachels oldest child. She was only 6 at the time of her fathers death. Hebe is the third lady in from the right, holding the wreath.
