Overnight Closures of Loop 288 at Interstate 35E in Denton Denton, Texas - Loop 288 will be closed nightly at the I-35E frontage roads, Monday April 21 through Wednesday, May 21 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. During the closure, crews will partially demolish the Loop 288 bridge. Traffic will be detoured as follows: · Eastbound Loop 288 will be detoured south to Mayhill Road, to the southbound frontage road, and back to eastbound Loop 288. · Westbound Loop 288 will be detoured to Teasley Lane, to the northbound frontage road and back to westbound Loop 288. This closure is needed for work related to the 35Express project, an expansion of I-35E between US Highway 380 in Denton County and I-635 in Dallas County.
