Overview history of YVTC- Comoro Youth Vocational Training Centre of Comoro is a training provider founded by the Norwegian Refugee Council in 2008. The centre is located in Comoro, Dili. NRC’s mission ended at the end of 2011, at which time the centre was handed over to Timorese communities and the Timorese Government and with the President of Republic as their patron. Since handover the centres have been lead and managed by Timorese teams. STVJ Comoro is an institution that is working towards assisting in the development of professional skills in training and assessment (TAA) as well as Youth Programs. The centre has a critical role in supporting the continued development of quality training and workforce in Timor Leste.
