Owing to their present ailling conditions, one would take the assertion "muslims once lived in peace" a lie. Since the end of world warII, the world has moved in two distinct diretions. The West, mostly Christian, has tried to minimise the intra-European conflict and has largely been successful with some exeptions. The Muslim world, on the other hand, has fallen into one violent conflict after another, involving mostly Muslims. Several intra-Muslim conflicts continue to simmer as proxy wars. In past we have examples such as Iraq-Iran, Iraq-kwait wars which left millions dead. Today, in Syria the role of Saudi Kwait, UAE, Turkey, Iran and others is no different than that of non Muslim France and UK. The aim of the discussion is that most of us will think these Muslim countries our friends because they are Muslims but that is the opposite of the truth. Margenthau has rightly said " Nations has interests not friendships". The point I want rise is that the evil exists within the Muslims. Islam is no doubt a great religion but Muslims are no more great people. KSA thought to be religious leader and has a duty of harmonizing muslim world but she is doing opposit of it. Most of the atrocities faced by Muslims from aleppo in Syria to Balochistan in Pak are fueled by our religious father KSA. We need to avoid the game of scapegoats. We shall know and handle our silent enimies with an iron hand only then we can achieve an eternal peace of our motherland.
