PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST issued at 5am 06 October 2013. SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "Danas" was located based on all available data at 1,460 km east of extreme Northern Luzon (20.5N, 137.8E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. it is forecast to move west northwest at 30 kph. FORECAST: Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the north to northwest will prevail over the Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to west will prevail over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
