PAGASA is monitoring the LPA hovering off Visayas on Monday which has a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone. The weather bureau said to expect light rains in most parts of the country inc. Metro Manila due to the LPA embedded in the ITCZ. Based on PAGASA models, the LPA has a high chance to intensify into a tropical cyclone within the next 24-36 hours. In case the LPA turns into a tropical depression, it will be named "Isang". (Susan De Leon)
