PAID ACTING WORK The Centre for Eating and Dieting Disorders (CEDD), at the University of Sydney, are interested in casting an actor for a paid role to portray an online therapist. As we are a non-for profit organisation, we have a limited budget, however we are interested in attracting an actor who can successfully portray a therapist giving therapy. Our online therapy program is for people with Eating Disorders. The program consists of 4 sessions and users will be guided through each session of the program by a filmed, pre-recorded actress who will act as the therapist (using a script written by us). The program will be closed access, pay per user. Interested applicants will need to provide a head shot to us and a brief expression of interest in the project. The actor will also have to fulfill the following criteria: A female who looks comfortably over the age of 30, and is warm, inviting, engaging and open. The work will most likely involve 4 - 8 days of rehearsals and filming. We would also be more than happy to provide the actress with a copy for their show reel.
