PALAU. “July, 2013 has been busy at PMA/PMF -Palau. Starting off the month was the annual church anniversary celebration of 17 years of service and ministry to the people of Palau. After Sunday church services, the entire church gathered for a barbeque and potluck which was followed by a Sunday evening time of music and sharing prepared by the church youth. “Go MAD” (Go and Make A Difference) was the theme for the Summer Youth Camp led by Pastor Marty Lumigis. A total of 18 youth and advisors enjoyed a three day overnight outing at one of Palau’s beautiful beaches. A busy schedule of games, competitions and spiritual reflections made for a lasting memory for all that attended. Daily Vacation Bible School Week began at the end of the month with three hours each day devoted to Bible Studies and fun activities. The church also said a fond farewell to C.J. Misajon and Micha Kloft on the last Sunday of the month. Micha has served for the last five months as an assistant to Pastor Marty and is returning to Germany to complete his education. C.J., born and raised in Palau, served for three months as both a worship leader and full time assistant to PMA-Palau Aviation, assisting Gene Pastrana, Aviation’s full time aircraft mechanic. Both of these young men are loved by the church and will be greatly missed.” By Karen Esson
