PANJGUR: BSO’s (Azad) Zonal President of Shall Zone, Shahzeb Baloch, who was kidnapped on 25th of March 2009, addressed a group of reporters after being recently released from illegal custody of the Pakistan Secret Agencies, regarding the conditions he faced in detention. He said that on the first day of illegal detention he was taken to a Senior Interrogation Officer who warned him that there are already more than 500 Balochs in the cell he has been brought into, and if he didn’t cooperated with the officers in answering the questions asked then he would have to face the same fate as the other Baloch detainees and be left in such to cell for rest of the years. In the torture cell he had a chance to see the conditions being faced by Chaker Qambarani, Fareed Baloch, Nazeer Marri Baloch and Karam Khan Marri Baloch who were facing inhuman tortures, Fareed Baloch, 25 and a student of Masters in Computer Sciences had lost his sanity due to the torture, Nazeer and Karam Khan Marri Baloch who are residents of Mangho Peer, Karachi, Karam Khan has been disabled due to the severe torture he faced and his reproductive organs had been effected as well. Shahzeb further added that there i came to know that a large number of Pashtun from the frontier Province were also involved in the barbaric tortures against the Balochs in the torture cells, he said that he was disappointed to see the Pashtuns there as they themselves are an oppressed Nation but still they are working as mercenaries for the Punjabi Army. He said that the torture cells in Cuba would feel embarrassed in front of the Pakistani Tortures cells who have reached the heights of inhumanity and barbarism. During the interrogation, he said, he was asked hard questions regarding the Baloch National Front and Baloch Students Organization (Azad) which showed that the Agencies were frustrated with these organizations particularly and he was asked the names of the members of BSO(Azad) by kidnapping whom the Organization may get weaker. He said that he was repeatedly asked that how is India helping the Baloch Cause, and how much does each Baloch get working for freedom from Indian RAW and Isreali MOSAAD, Shahzeb added that these questions explicitly exposed Punjabi’s thought regarding the Baloch Cause as they think that the Cause is based on the instructions of India or Israel, and the agencies thought that B.S.O. is serving as a breeding ground for Baloch Liberation Army and other armed groups working for the Independence of Balochistan, B.S.O. is the main target for them in order to weaken the Baloch Cause. During Investigation I (Shahzeb) was asked regarding B.S.O.’s chairman Bashir Zaib, Vice Chairman Zakir Majeed, Information Secretary Salaam Sabir, Member of Central Committee Mushtaq Baloch, Amir-ul-Mulk Baloch and the Deputy Organizer Shall Zone Qamber Chaker Baloch, and during my illegal detention Zakir Majeed was also abducted and if something happens to any of the members and leaders then the Agencies would be solely responsible for that. Shahzeb said that he was kept in Quli Camp (famous for its barbarism) for two months and two days of detention and then he was moved to a cell in Punjab which he came to know through the Punjabi Talibans detained over there, after that he was taken to Loralai and released. While addressing the journalists he appealed the Human rights organizations and United Nation’s Human rights offices to taken take decisive action to release thousands of illegally detained Balochs in Pakistani torture cells who are facing severe torture and their lifes are in danger. Giving a message to Baloch Nation Shahzeb said that the sacrifices of the Martyrs and political workers has brought the Baloch Cause on a decisive round therefore in order to reach the destiny we’ll have to unite as a Freedom loving Nation on ideological grounds so that we may succeed in obtaining our Freedom. At last he concluded by saying that he has no fear of his death and he would continue exposing the barbaric tortures on every platform he gets an opportunity to. Via baloch social media activist.
