Panun Kashmir today observed the holocaust day as it was on this day that the entire Kashmiri Pandit community was religiously cleansed on 19th January 1990 and subjected to holocaust and genocide.The day was observed as black day to protest against the religious cleansing imposed upon the community by the Islamic theo fascists and communal separatists. The top brass of Panun Kashmir took stock of the emerging political,social,cultural and economic situation that directly affects the community.To take the struggle of the creation of the Homeland to the logical conclusion the advisory committee chalked out the short term and long term strategy to bind the community in one thread of homeland. various speakers spoke on the occasion and delved at length on their personal experiences regarding the holocaust inflicted on the Kashmiri Pandit community on 19th January,1990. Dr.Ajay Chrungoo,Chairman,Panun Kashmir said,Holocaust Day is not merely a ritual but a black spot on the secular democracy of India.Memory of holocaust is the weapon that will decimate the fifth columnists and the detractors.Panun Kashmir will not leave any stone unturned to connect with the masses and channelise the resources both tangible and intangible to strengthen the idiom of Homeland.The emerging political scenario vindicates the demand of homeland. While speaking on the occassion,Pt.Omkar Nath Trisal,veteran freedom fighter and member advisory,Panun Kashmir said,Panun Kashmir is not a mere slogan but a divine intervention to uphold the frontier of the Indian nation in Kashmir.KP community and especially the Panun Kashmir activists who are the seeds and anchors of the Sanskrit Indian civilisation must look within and introspect .Introspection is the only path to deal with the external situation of desperation imposed upon the community by the fifth columnists and the detractors.The struggle for Homeland has no margin of error. Prof.M.L Kaul,eminent scholar and member advisory,Panun Kashmir said,Panun Kashmir is the realisation of the karmayaoga preached by Lord Krishna to Arjuna.We are in the battle field and the need is to perform our karma for the homeland with keeping in view the absolute truth of the reality politically and historically that homeland is the life blood of the KP community. Sh.Kuldeep Raina,General secretary,Panun Kashmir,said, Community needs to consolidate the resources for the struggle for homeland. Panun Kashmir activists need to lead the community from the front and take the reins of community affairs into their hands as it is only the Panun Kashmir ideology that has stood the test of the time.Any sphere of activity left un attended by the homelanders will consolidate the forces that are subverting the community from within. Sh.Daya Krishen Kaul,Vice Chairman,Panun Kashmir said,Panun Kashmir is decided to form task forces at micro level to sensitise the masses about the geo-political imperative of Panun Kashmir and homeland . Not only the leaders but the masses are the resources of the struggle and the community and the idelogues will have to work in tandem to re energise and sharpen the homeland idiom.
