PARAMETERS OF ARTISTIC IMAGE OF REALITY ======================================== Art cognises not the world as such, but a world processed beforehand in the practice, thoughts and feelings of people, which already comprises a practical_intellectual substratum. Man acts as the object of art not through his biological, physical or chemical properties, but through his social meanings ........ The work of art can perform this function( changing of people,s thoughts ,feelings , needs , and in the final analysis , actions ) at the time of creation or a dozen a thousand , or several thousand years later . For all these reasons the image of reality created by the artist has several parameters , apart from the epistemological. The ( parameters ) are: 1_ The Socio_genetic ( the need for art at the level of society, and the social conditions for the creation of art ), 2_The Cognitive_evaluative ( the cognition of an object in art , and the expression of the artist,s attitude to it ), 3_ The Communicative ( the transmission to society of information received as a result of the cognition and evaluation of reality) and 4_ The Cultural _historical ( the reinterpretation in a new age of content of works of the past , in accordance with the changed social artistic requirements )............ .......it is at this level ( of Cognition and Evaluation ) that objects of reality are Transformed into artistic reality , not identical with but similar or corresponding in content to its object .
