PARKING OFFICER: Last Friday one of the Banyule Council’s - TopicsExpress

PARKING OFFICER: Last Friday one of the Banyule Council’s parking officers was in Ailsa Grove in response to the recent public meeting with residents concerned about pedestrian safety and driver behaviour in the streets surrounding IPS. The officer advised there would be increased traffic surveillance at schools in the Banyule municipality. The traffic officers will be monitoring vehicles queuing for the school drop off area and well as illegal parking in Ailsa Grove and Lowe Street. IPS suggests motorists queuing do not turn their engine off as this will risk a fine being issued for parking in a ‘No Standing’ area. Parking across the driveway of residents should also be avoided. Please note these suggestions and therefore avoid receiving an infringement notice.
