PARKRIDGE CARE HOME HELL ON WHEELS PATIENT ABUSE INTENSIIES PLEASE READ, WATCH 8 MINUTE VIDEO AND SHARE On January 11, 2015, at approximately 6:30 AM under care of RN Girlie, patient is clicking for help, as there is no response from call bell. This call for help goes on for about 45 minutes. Due to respiratory distress the alarms activate on vent. Long wait times can be fatal. At approximately 9:35 AM the patient was receiving morning care by LPN Louis and two untrained care aids. While patient is being have rotated to the left, patient immediately signals something is wrong. Within 10 seconds he is begging to be bagged as no air is entering his lungs. From so many previous adverse experiences the patient knew what happened, but LPN Lois was wasting her time to looking to see if I was compressing vent tubing. Patient said quit and bag me. The whole time patient could hear the air from vent blowing, indicating a hose is disconnected or breached. Finally the hint is taken, LPN Lois starts looking for bagger receiving zero help from the untrained aids. There is a significant delay before emergency call bell is activated. The bag is located and LPN Lois starts to remove adaption piece on bag and incorrectly bags a patient in serious life distress. The patient was shown the proper way by RT April but no training for staff that need and should know. At this point my home is getting cluttered with RN Lu, PT Kelly, LPN Lois, and two aids. While patient is being bagged, after about 5 minutes the patient is told vent is working fine and caregivers attempted to forcefully put on no air flowing vent tubing back on patient. The patient indicated to reconnect hose as he hears breach from lower vent No one even bothered to look at hoses-negligence! Then patient suggests get vent from power chair. Patient’s temporary solution is respected, however no moister adapter put on. The clutter increases with the self-appointed non-RT guru of vent knowledge LPN Dawn. She looks at vent settings and tells everyone vent is fine. The patient is asking call emergency RT. She later miss communicates to Lois that RT April is not coming. This confusion is sorted out. Finally RT Pam arrives. Her first course was to change the circuit, but I asked her not to do that, as I didn’t want the evidence to be tampered. The Parkridge staff is trying to distract her as to lets change circuits. The patient was forced to tell Parkridge staff to be quite. RT Pam listened patient and understood why patient wanted circuit checked as Parkridge staff did not including the know it all LPN Dawn. RT Pam locates breach and vent tube has air coming out of end of tube. This portion of gong show ends at 11:35. Then patient is abandoned with no computer and communication by refusing to plug power cord because patient got frustrated, as no one knows how to operate the buttons on bed. Then LPN Dawn lectors patient for not using the call bell, see video of no call. What is shocking, is that Care aid Kayla repositions call bell making it worse, see the video. It is now 1:21 PM and LPN is refusing me to be fed lunch by staff as punishment. Parkridge staff attempted a cover up and went out their way to upset patient. Just to show how bad it gets aid and LPN Lois arrive to room with aid Garry standing over me with arms crossed like Mr. Clean staring at patient with anger and Lois saying you know what went down you will not have lunch. At 1:35 PM LPN Dawn arrives to take away lunch to ensure patient starves and is punished. Patient never refused lunch as she represents. Patient did ask aids to leave and said come back later by saying how stupid can people be? . Why after being tormented with all the stupidity of morning and greeted with more by stupidity in the afternoon, like unable to understand English, not knowing how to operate bed incidents and doing the opposite of what is asked incidents and no understanding of common sense incidents. Any sane person would call a spade a spade given vent incident, bagging incident, early morning vent alarm incident, abandonment, incident, with no computer incident, left in awkward position incident, cover up incident, no call bell incidents, and LPN Dawn ensuring I get provoked. Her begging for patient to say please to her, he attitude patient can hit bell, but stating patient is not trying hard enough and saying she knows Patient can do because he did it in past. The patient told LPN Dawn that for the last the last 3 months that he has been dealing with muscle spasms in neck causing it to become weaker. Her response was like whatever and left room. She returned later to check call bell. I told Dawn I need to piss, she accuses patient of swearing, patient replies he is using the word as a noun about himself. He restates he has to piss, urinate and pee. At 3 PM patient has to pee and asks for boost as his bum is getting sore, LPN Dawn refuses and says NOT until 4 PM and scolds patient for the care time he received this morning like it was his fault about vent failure.
