PART 12 – World War 3 according to Bible prophecy (Vision of the Great Image) We learned from the previous (Part 11) how Jesus will handle the battle against the evil-forces of the antichrist & false prophet during the battle of Armageddon; as well as how His AUTHORITY from heaven above trumps over any kind of supernatural POWER… Jesus, using His authority, will cause MADNESS among the enemy forces (brought about by the confusion & panic) when all the bullets, missiles, rockets, etc. coming from the enemy forces will turn against themselves killing each other … Let’s read verses of Revelation chapter 19 to see what will happen to the antichrist & the false prophet. --- (verse 20-21) “Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast ALIVE into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him (Jesus) who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.” Take note that the Antichrist is a political leader. He is not just an ordinary politician but a GREAT political leader!.. Why?.. He couldnt get worldwide support from among great political leaders of the world if he is not the best or the greatest among them… It must be so in order for him to rule the One-World Governmental system… And the same goes for a Church leader who will also rule the One-World Religion, but a false prophet… Let’s now read what the bible has to say about them & their Kingdom... Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, had a dream that bothered him so much.. He couldnt sleep & was so eager to know the meaning of his dream… So he called all the wise men like magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, etc, and asked them to tell what exactly the dream was, as well as its meaning, or else, they will be cut in pieces & their houses will be destroyed… He intentionally did that so he would know if they are telling the truth & that the interpretation of the dream is really true… So no one can tell what the dream was until Daniel, who was so faithful to God, prayed & asked God to make known to him what the dream was as well as its meaning… So let’s read Daniel chapter 2 to see what the dream was all about. --- (Daniel 2:31-35) “You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great IMAGE! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image’s HEAD was of fine GOLD, its CHEST and ARMS of SILVER, its BELLY and THIGHS of BRONZE, its LEGS of iron, its FEET partly of IRON and partly of CLAY… You watched while a STONE was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces… Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the STONE that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. [So that was the dream of the King of Babylon. Let’s read the interpretation that God revealed to Daniel.] --- (Daniel 2:38-45) “You, O king, are this HEAD of GOLD. But after you shall arise another kingdom (SILVER) inferior to yours; then another- a third kingdom of BRONZE, which shall rule over all the earth… And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as IRON, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others… Whereas you saw the FEET and TOES, partly of potter’s CLAY and partly of IRON, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay… And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile… As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay… And IN THE DAYS of THESE KINGS, the God of heaven (Jesus) will set up a KINGDOM which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever… Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.” [The vision says that there are Kingdoms (empire) that will rule the earth starting from the King’s (Babylon) empire up to the time of Jesus’ SECOND coming (where He will set up His Kingdom on this earth as what was discussed many times in our previous lessons/PART of this series)… History tells that after the Babylon Empire, the Medo-Persian Empire came next, followed by the Greek Empire, & then the Roman Empire… So here’s the breakdown:] (1) BABYLON Empire = GOLD (the head) Kingdom (2) MEDO-PERSIAN Empire = SILVER (the chest & arms) Kingdom (3) GREEK Empire = BRONZE (the belly & thighs) Kingdom (4) ROMAN Empire = IRON (legs) Kingdom (5) ????? Empire = IRON & CLAY (the feet & toes) Kingdom (6) JESUS Kingdom (on His 2nd Coming) = the STONE that became great mountain (the stone that struck the great IMAGE on its FEET of IRON & CLAY & broke those kingdoms in pieces). Question: Whose empire among them would be in power by the time Jesus will come to set up His Kingdom???... The answer is the empire or the kingdom of the IRON & CLAY. This is bcoz the STONE (representing JESUS as the rock- the “rock of salvation” as we know it) will strike the FEET made of iron & clay, and not the other parts of the body. Take note that the IRON represents the ROMAN Empire. But the “feet & toes” were made up NOT ONLY of iron but also of clay. So what does that mean???... Remember in our previous lessons/studies that before the time of Jesus 2nd Coming, the Antichrist & the False-Prophet will set up their KINGDOM first for their One-World Government & One-World Religion system!.. And so IRON represents the “Rome’s Political Government” to collaborate with the element of “Religion” (representing the CLAY) to establish the One-World Government & Religion System!!! Therefore, the coming Kingdom of the antichrist & the false prophet is the one that symbolizes the FEET of iron & clay… Remember in the first two chapters (Part 1 & 2) of this series, where we discussed the 70-Weeks prophecy of Daniel, where it says that “the people of the prince who is to come (referring to the antichrist who is to come), shall destroy the city & the sanctuary” (referring to the destruction of the Jewish 2nd Holy Temple & the Jerusalem city - Daniel 9:26), and the PEOPLE who destroyed the Temple were the Romans (way back in 70 AD during Roman Empire)… Therefore, the prince (who is to come) of these Roman people that destroyed the Temple would also be a ROMAN… Clay symbolizes religion or the HOLY element, thus, the mixture of iron & clay is the so-called the “Holy Roman Empire” - the REBIRTH (to be explained on the later Part/chapter of this series)… The reason why Daniel mentioned of up to only “4th” Kingdom is bcoz the 4th Kingdom (which is the Roman Empire) is also gonna be the 5th Kingdom itself, only that it will be mixed with the clay representing the religion- the holy element for the coming “One-World Government & Religion” system. The “10 toes” of the feet of the image are the COMING “10 Kings” (the divided kingdom as what was mentioned in the scripture above)… Yes those are the coming 10 kings thats why the scripture says, “and IN THE DAYS of THESE KINGS (the ten toes), the God of heaven will set up a KINGDOM.” These 10 Toes also symbolize the “10 horns” of the beast (the beast with 7-heads & 10-horns of Revelation 13) where the antichrist shall arise from one of these 10 kingdoms (the 10 powerful allies of the antichrist)… To understand this vision/prophecy even better, we need to learn more of Daniel’s prophecy parallel to this one (the vision of the four beasts)… It’s gonna be a long one also, so I need to end up here for the meantime. ------------------------------- End of Part 12 (to be continued)
