PART 3: [After 10 years] “YAH!! Don’t you dare get that thing near me! Waaaah!!” you said and run. “Why? Hahaha! How many times do I have to tell you that crickets are not that bad? Hahaha!” he said. “And how many times do I have to tell you too that I’m scared?!” you said. “Why don’t you try?” he asks. “I said stop Baekhyun.” You said while catching your breath because you run. “You call me in my whole name. Fine, I’ll stop.” Baekhyun said and put the cricket on the grass. “Hey… I’m sorry ____ (your name)” Baek said. “It’s ok Baek.” You said. “How come an 18 year old like you are still scared on a cricket?” he asks. Both of you are now sitting on the grass behind your school building. The school hours is done. But before you go home both of you sometimes drop by there just to relax after a hard time in studying. “I just don’t… like it.” You said. “You don’t like it or it just reminds you of him?” he said. “I don’t know.” You said and now you’re crying once again. “You’re crying again. Aish!” he said and hugs you. “He promised! He promised he will come back just for me. And I promised too that I’ll wait for him! But I’m tired of waiting, it’s been 10 years. But even a shadow of him, I can’t see any.” You said while crying. “Sshhh… don’t cry please. You know I hate to see you cry.” He said. “I can’t help it. After he leave me that time he promised that he will always e-mail me or send me a letter, he won’t stop doing that until he’s not coming back here, but he only did that for 6 months. After that I didn’t receive any words from him. I thought he stop sending me e-mail because he will come back here that time. But no sign of him. WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS PROMISED!!!!” You said and you can’t help it you shout and shout while crying, punching baekhyun’s chest, but not that hard. And because of the pressure you’ve been feeling that time, different emotions, you fainted. Baekhyun just send you home. He put you on your bed. “That kid. She always drowned herself in crying.” Your dad said. “Please take care of him uncle.” Baek said to your dad. “Yeah… Sorry for the disturb.” “It’s ok.” Baek said. “You love my daughter, don’t you?” your dad asks to baek. “What?!” Baaekhyun really look shock. “Don’t deny it. It’s too obvious from your reaction.” “But… she loves him.” Baek said. “You’ve been best friend for almost 3 years. It won’t be hard to win her heart. I know you’re a good kid, and I won’t just let you love my daughter if I don’t know that. But I won’t assure you that if you’ll fight for that love she will love you back.
