PART OF FRANCISTOWN INTERNAL ROAD TO BE CLOSED IN JAN 2015 The Francistown A1 section, from the BMC roundabout to Bokowe junction is expected to be closed on the 12th January next year. A statement from the Ministry of Transport and Communication says the section will be closed for 4-5months to allow for road construction to run smoothly on that section of the road. The road is part of the Tonota-Francistown rehabilitation and Upgrading project, which is close to completion. The ministry says a series of meetings and consultations have been held to notify the public on developments related to the upgrade of this road prior to the closure of this section.
