PART1: Those who oppose Tasawwuf wholistically are suffering from one of the following: 1. They are ignorant and pitiful. Majority of them are people who fell in wrong hands and in the way were indoctrinated. They do not see anything good about what they are told is bad and they see nothing bad in whatever they are told is good. Theyve lost their sense of resoning and they are closer than being animals than humans due to the illness of the heart. Indoctrination and dogmatism are evils especially if they are not accompanied by good reasoning ability. 2. They are intentionally wanting to distort the history, legacies and the spirituality of Islam and Muslims. They are hypocrites. 3. They are cultists working for the ways of the Dajjal. By killing Tasawwuf, the spiritual essence of Islam would be destroyed. PART2: Those who practise Sufism today are in different categories; a. Those who truly seek the face of Allah through diligent observance of the Quran and Sunnah. They are the Sufiyyu al-Haqiqiyu. They do not disrespect the Sunnah nor do they look down on others. Their aim is only to find the mercy of Allah and the love of His friends. b: Those who are using Sufism as a means of livelihood. They are the ones that claim miracles and ask people to come to them for magic. They claim to be powerful and teach heresies. The likelihood of them can be found in all religions of the world. They are al-Sufiyyu al-Istirzaqi. They do not represent the true Tasawwuf and their acts should NOT be a yardstick to measure the essence of the true Sufism. c: The ignoramuses who only want to belong. Thousands of people attend the Zawayah today just because their boyfriend, girlfriend or a scholar they like does. They know nothing about the path except to sing and dance in the name of the Tariqah. They are the ladies that reveal their ornaments without caution and the men that attack the Shariah out of ignorance. They claim the love of the Shaykh yet do not follow their ways. They constitute the largest number known as Sufis today and they are the cancers of this spiritual path of Islam. They are the people who claim that Allah only want your heart and does not mind how you appear. May Allah purify our hearts and grant us understanding. Amin.
