PATHETIC AND DELUSIONAL SLAVES Many people are unconscious, alienated and oblivious to their own and other peoples enslavement. One of the MOST STUPID NOTIONS many unimaginative idiots have is the irrational, ignorant and dumb fear that a future economic elite will use genetic engineering and/or other advanced technologies to enslave humankind. WHAT A FOOLS !!! First of all, most of humankind ALREADY are SLAVES for quite a long time. Most of them have little or no choice on what kind of work they want to do, nor when to do ( oppressive rigid working hours ), nor under what conditions and nor if they want to work at all or not. As result they either work in repetitive, exhausting, underpaid, inhumane, stressful, unfulfiling, uncreative, destructive of intellectual potentials and talents, alienating, submissive, under an hierarchy of dominance and oppression and/or under the fear of unemployment, jobs. Furthermore, they are slaves of ideas for which they were indoctrinated by religion, ideology, biased culture, brainwashed parents, peers and society since they were little children. Very few of them had the strength, the creativity, the intelligence and the courage to question these ideas and get rid of them. Additionally, the media ( TV, radio, internet, newspapers, etc ) manipulate them and indoctrinate them further on what to believe, how to behave, what to buy, what to wear, what kind of shallow entertainment to have, what moral values to have, what to think and mainly what to not think, what stereotypes and clichés to repeat like brainless parrots, what made-up little phrases with fake or insignificant wisdom to repeat pretending to be smart, to see lies as truths and truths as lies, to even believe in conspiracy theories that use little truths to mask absurd and colossal lies and to see slavers as liberators and liberators as slavers, to have false hopes, to believe in distorted words that in the real word are represented by the opposite of their original meaning, to think they escaped from a type of slavery only to fall into a new one, to choose politicians who actually make policies against their own interests, to become greedy fools who will never realize their shallow ambitions because they are trapped by the rigged game of the system and so on. Only few people either were lucky to have been brought in enlightened families in little oasis of liberating cultures or had the creativity, imagination, vision, intelligence and the courage to break partially or totally from all these enslaving chains. Now, lets return and talk about the stupid notion of a future enslaving advanced technology. By the time, genetic engineering and other technologies will be capable of modifying human instincts and proclivities, robots will be advanced enough to replace most or all workers. Robots do not complain. They do not disobey. They can work 24 hours per day if that is needed without becoming tired or stressed. They do not ask for payment, resting hours, holydays, medical care, work breaks, etc. They can be very efficient and almost error-free in most activities. Future robots could even make each other technical maintenance or build new robots. So, what on earth would cause the future economic elite to enslave fallible, fragile, potentially disobedient, susceptible to diseases, mental illnesses and health problems, potentially rebellious and dangerous humans -if- they would have almost PERFECT SLAVES: the ADVANCED ROBOTS OF THE FUTURE ? Instead, the economic elite will face this dilemma: to share the enormous wealth produced by advanced automatization and sophisticated robots and computers to all humankind ( because almost or all jobs will cease to exist ) and vastly augment them positively through genetic engineering and other technologies -or- decimate most of the human species and become a freakish solitary psychopathic elite whose members may start killing each other for what remains to dominate ( members of the elite itself ). These scenarios ( and others not mentioned here ) is what really smart people should be concerned about. Hopefully, Egalitarian Transhumanism will enlighten and set free many ( or all ) these slaves.
