PATRICIA KALIATIS HASTY SHOCKS GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS The outspoken money hungry Minister of Gender Patricia Kaliati has arrived in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia on an African Union AU duty but left the country a week earlier than expected. Sources at the Ministry of Gender have confirmed to #News_Across_Malawi that Kaliati discretely left on Wednesday via Kamuzu International Airport KIA. According to sources, the development has angered state house officials who have been organizing the trip inline with the constrained budget. Our sources confirmed that Kaliati left a week earlier as her plan to get hefty allowances for staying longer abroad than others. But when statehouse learnt that she had left, officials were shocked because it was in fact expected that she will travel next week. This week it is only technocrats who are holding meetings in Addis Ababa in preparation for the main meeting which presidents will attend said the source. Kaliatis conduct is heavily in contrast to president Peter Mutharika’s assertions of embracing austerity measures amid the current hard to implement zero aid national budget.
