PAULA DEEN: I never really watched Paula Deen but it seemed to me that she got a really raw deal from a lot of hypocritical haters. Liberals like actor Alec Baldwin have done and said far worse than anything she was accused of and nobody gives him a hard time. And its my understanding the lawsuit against her was completely thrown out by the court. So it was kind of refreshing to see the warm reception she received in Houston recently. A ten minute standing ovation accompanied by lots of grateful tears from Paula. This video of that event is pretty touching...and rather reassuring that there are level headed people in the great state of Texas willing to show a little charity to a person like this when everyone else is piling on.
