WOULD NOT REPENT IF I END DAMAGING THE RADIO I would like to thank all who symapthized with me for the faulty 7 year old ham radio transciever FT-857D that I bought second hand from a ham [ as I was not in position to import a new one] and inspiring me to troubleshoot the radio with information about what might go wrong with the radio and epecially Karan, VU2YEP Karan Bakshi for pointing me to the Filter Issue. This first led to the Purchase of the #Diamond SWR cum Power Meter and a Dummy Load. The purchase was long pending since 1989. As suggested by Karan, VU2YEP, I emailed to #YAESU America. Yaesu America promptly replied me to get in touch with Mr. Sam Ruddy of #StandardHorizon in UK standardhorizon.co.uk. I got a prompt reply from Mr. Sam Ruddy telling me that from the symptoms of the fault, he also doubts that the three filters must be faulty. Mr. Sam Ruddy promptly shipped the filters from England through ordinary Royal Airmail. I would like to thank YL Ms.Tisha Hayes.
