PCC Prez KR Sharma requests Lt Governor to pay visit to Hut Bay Port Blair, Sept 03: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, PCC President has recorded his sincere gratitude to the Lt Governor, ANI, who, for the welfare of the islanders and all round developments of the islands is travelling many far flung areas of the UT and meeting the people of the areas and solving their problems at the spot and also considering overall development of the areas. Kuldeep has requested the development and islanders friendly Administrator to pay a visit to the Little Andaman Island where he (Kuldeep) has very recently visited and found many irregularities. Kuldeep has earnestly requested the Administrator to declare Hutbay as tourist destination and consider necessary infrastructures which are required for a well developed tourism sector. Further to it, Kuldeep has also requested to consider a community hall at Palm Tikry,and proper fish landing jetties at appropriate place for the fishermen community of the area. A mini stadium and zonal library are long pending demands of the youths and students of the area for which also Kuldeep requested for consideration of the Lt Governor. Kuldeep has also stated that the zonal library was destroyed in Tsunami and till date no action has been taken to establish a zonal library. Kuldeep has also requested for BSNL tower, birth house, death house and a community hall at Harminder Bay for the welfare of the tribe and street lights from Break water to Hutbay. Kuldeep has also requested the Administrator to pay a visit to Pmt Tsunami shelters to see the dilapidated conditions of the shelters and consider immediate repairs of the shelters and trimming of the big trees of the area. The Lt Governor who always takes care of the health problems of the islanders, Kuldeep has requested him to consider to up-gradation of PHC of Hutbay and Netaji Nagar to CHC for the better medical facilities of the populace. Kuldeep has also requested for considering proper street lights to all the villages of Little Andaman.
