Confirm Date for September Board Meeting Adjourn -----Tax Rate Hearing Info---- Bolivar R-I School District, Bolivar, Missouri TAX RATE HEARING NOTICE A public hearing will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Bolivar R-1 Administration Building, 524 West Madison at which citizens may be heard on the property tax rates to be set by the Bolivar R-1 School District, a political subdivision. The tax rates shall be set to produce the revenues, which the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, shows to be required from the property tax. Each tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue required by the current assessed valuation. The result is multiplied by 100 so the tax rate will be expressed in cents per $100 valuation.
