PCOO EXECUTIVES ON WARRANT OF ARREST AFTER more than a year of waiting for the PCOO Executive to implement the Order of the lower court, KAKAMMPI Chairperson Maria Fe P. Finally, the Quezon City Regional Trial Court has ordered the arrest of two officials of the Philippine Broadcasting Service for contempt of court for failure to submit a written explanation and implement the Suspension Pendente Lite Order in July 10, 2012 to Edgardo Magtibay Satira, Station Manager of dzRM. The No bail Warrant of Arrest was recommended by QC RTC Judge Luisito G. Cortez who issued separate warrants, directing the National Bureau of Investigation to go after and arrest PBS Director Tito Cruz and Executive Assistant Jun P. Romana. “Wherefore, for failure to the said parties to submit a written explanation and to implement the said order of the court, let a corresponding warrant of arrest be issued against Director Tito Cruz and Executive Assistant Jun Romana with no bail until they complied,” Cortez’s two-page order read. In July 2011, the Office of the Ombudsman through Graft Investigation and Prosecution Officer II Reiner Sadsad filed charges to Philippine Broadcasting Service-Bureau of Broadcast Services dzRM Station Manager Edgardo Magtibay Satira of violation of Article 315, or estafa with abuse of confidence, and Article 213 of the Revised Penal Code, or fraud against public treasury, and Section 3 (b) and (e) of Republic Act 3019, or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, before the Quezon City lower court.
