PDP, APC OR CANDIDATES PERSONALLY? OSUN STATE STILL ON MY MIND. I THINK THAT OSUN PEOPLE SHOULD RESIST THE INCURSION OF THE PDP AND NEVER LET THEM WIN OSUN. Fellow Nigerians, much as many of us may have lost the appetite for the APC and no longer trust them as the next alternative to the PDP, I think that we must put on our thinking caps and not take our eyes off the ball. Let us forget the lies from the parties and employ some rationality. It is clear that the PDP wants to win all the states and make mockery of the APC. They have their reasons and the APC have continued to play into their hands. However if you ask me, with the exception of a few people I would like the power of the PDP to be watered down drastically.I will actually prefer a hung government where everyone is working hard to impress us in order to get the chance to take total control next time. But should we really allow the PDP to take over all the states? If they can run the country down in the manner they have since 1999 under our watch and the little contributions of other parties, what will Nigeria be like without any opposition at all if they are at liberty to run Nigeria the way they like and are used to? In my view, the time has come for us to employ some common sense, bury our inherited prejudices and think more about the Nigeria would like to leave for our children. This means that we must do more to elect people not parties. OSUN state should be our starting point. I do not know the PDP candidate at all. That said, to have a balance, I think that they should give the mandate back to the current governor if he is doing well or choose someone else completely if they are not happy with the governor anymore. We must avoid sentiments and think about our states for the next 4 years under the PDP. So OSUN people, its your future. Vote right or wrong and live with your decision.
