PDP FRAUDULENT PRESIDENTIAL COMPLAIN ( Read Campaign ) IN MAKURDI. MATTERS ARISING: That the Goodluck Jonathan led Federal Government under the PDP has neglected Benue state completely for the entire 16 years that the party has been in power at the centre and periphery is not in doubt. This much is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf! The PDP has absolutely ZERO legacy in Benue state. They failed woefully! They have nothing to showcase as achievement! It was on this premise that I looked forward to the visit of President Goodluck Jonathan to the state in furtherance of his Presidential COMPLAIN as he seeks the Peoples mandate to return him to office for another lacklustre clueless tenure. I wanted to hear what he will tell the people that he has done for the state that they should reciprocate by voting him for another term in office. Was I disappointed to hear Mr President speak to the Benue people? No not at all. Dr (?) GOODLUCK JONATHAN practically nailed his coffin and asked the people to cover him with sand and bury him alive! I will tell you why. Addressing the rented crowd from Abuja and environ at the IBB Square, venue of the jamboree, President Jonathan as part of his NON ACHIEVEMENTS in office for almost SIX wasted years told the people that: We WILL modernise agriculture by way of showing practical examples. (Whatever that means!) Realising that Benue state is the Food Basket of the nation, he threw another kite at the predominant peasant farming populace by saying: We WILL make sure that our farmers get soft loans. (After SIX years in office?) He is not done yet! The next COMPLAIN promise was antithetical to his plan of self sufficiency in rice production after all the gragra in rice revolution. Hear him: In a shot while, we WILL stop the importation of rice.” Finally he gave the people a loaded gun to shoot him! In his words: “If there is any other government that has done better than us, then don’t vote for us.” Now this coming from a President to a people in a state controlled by his party where civil servants have not been paid for SIX months and still counting, is what I called Hara Kirikiri, or if you like suicide as the Japanese will say. As part of his legacies of deceit and barefaced lies, they hurriedly poured gravel on the ancient railway tracks from Tito junction closed to the railway station all the way to Ankpa quarters and coupled a locomotive train as part of their transformation in the railway transport sector. The Vice President, Sheikh Namadina Sambo at the commissioning of the project of deceit told the people that the trains will become operational in early February. I was maniacally bewildered when I saw NebuTANians posting pictures of the Vice President in the 1st class cabin of the locomotive and counting that as an achievement. Truth be told, the train is a beautifully packaged tissue of lie to hoodwink the people! Hopefully Benue people have seen through their tissues of lies. Apart from the rented crowd that was procured in truckload of Marcopollo buses from outside the state, the state government hired over 100 kabu kabu buses to ferry people to the venue of the jamboree at a fee of N2,000 per head. That not withstanding, most of the buses were EMPTY as the long suffering people stayed away from the charade. Compared this with the enthusiastic crowd that practically mobbed the Peoples General, Mohammadu Buhari when his campaign train berthed at the Food Basket capital, and youll get the picture. BENUE is ready for change! And as we say in the Food Basket capital now ravaged by famine: ISHOR CHANJI!!! BENUE STATE SAY NO TO POVERTY DEVELOPMENT PARTY!!! DAZZOL
