PDP LEADERS AND TOP GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS GRACED SIR TONY OBUHS RETIREMENT THANKSGIVING SERVICE AS PATANI, BOMADI, UGHELLI NORTH AND UGHELLI SOUTH LGA CONSULTATION CONTINUES. The auditorium hall of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta Central Senatorial District was today, September 21, filled to capacity as PDP leaders/elders, party faithfuls, friends and family members of the Principal Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, Sir Tony Obuh joined him to thank the Almighty God for granting him uncommon wisdom and intellectual capacity to discharge his official functions while serving Delta State for 32 years. Sir Obuh described by his colleagues as a highly detribalised and kind-hearted personality, dance to the altar with members of his family accompanied by PDP party leaders and top government officials including the wife of Delta State Governor, Her Excellency, Mrs. Roli Uduaghan, the Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade Ovuzorie Macaulay, Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Monday Igbuya, Hon. Basil Ganagana, the Convener of Delta United 4 Tony Obuh - Chief Ayiri Emami (The Akulagba of Warri Kingdom), Chief (Barrister) Fred Majemite ( who was recently appointed Director-General of Tony Obuh Campaign Organisation) and his amiable wife, Chief (Mrs) Faith Majemite (The Oniemor of Agbon Kingdom/Delta United 4 Tony Obuh), Chief Uche Ugboma and other political tacticians. Addressing news hunters at the occasion, Sir Obuh said God has done so much for him. Hear him: God has done so much for me in the past years such that words are not enough to describe His mercies and love for me and my family. He is awesome and in a class all by Himself. Thanking God in a special way today is to also seek His fingers upon my life and family in the years to come especially His grace to obtain victory in my political ambition to become the fourth democratically elected Governor of Delta State, come 2015. I am humbled by the array of personalities here today. It amazes me. I urge fellow Deltans and indeed Nigerians to make quality friends with their God given positions because when the ships are down you will need them to move to the next level in life. I am yet to spend my personal money to prosecute my political ambition. The promotional materials and other logistics so far in place to prosecute my gubernatorial ambition were given to me by friends and well wishers. Thats Gods grace in action and I sincerely thank all of them from the bottom of my heart. My wife, our children and I remain indebted to those who traveled from far and near to grace this unique thanksgiving service. God will continue to enlarge their coast. The Director-General of Tony Obuh Campaign Organisation, Chief (Barrister) Fred Majemite has announced that the political consultation train of PDP Principal Gubernatorial Aspiratant (PGA) will hit the roads tomorrow, Monday the 22nd day of September, to the following LGAs: Patani, Bomadi, Ughelli North and Ughelli South. It is expected that party leaders and key consultation resource persons should assemble at the usual venue by 7am for take-off. Sir Tony Obuh will during the visit rob minds with PDP LGAs executives and political pressure groups to pave way for a more elaborate tour of federal constituencies and the three senatorial districts in Delta State.
