PDP governors fix Sept. 17 for crucial meeting The state governors elected on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold a “crucial meeting” in Abuja on Sept. 17. This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Akwa Ibom, Chief Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday in Abuja. The statement was signed by Mr Anietie Ekong, Special Assistant on Media to the Governor. Though the agenda of the meeting was not released, sources said the forthcoming PDP primaries and its National Convention, among other issues, would be discussed at the meeting
