PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION Number 2 There will a peaceful demonstration outside the Civic Center in Ebbw Vale at 12.30 pm 7th October. The Chief Officer Huw Jakeway will be attending the Civic to speak with councillors. The Chief Officer did ask for the meeting to be made public, but this is not possible due to the legislation and governance in place for Borough Councils, as the meeting had initially being called as an informal meeting. Once the Chief Fire Officer has address council, I will ask if he will then speak with the protestors. Please can as many as possible attend, as we need people there to show South Wales Fire Authority how much support our Blaina Fire Station/Crew have behind them.
