PECOSA in collaboration with PEC University of Technology organised ‘Jaspal Bhatti Night’ on Friday, 27 September 2013 at PEC Auditorium to pay tribute to the Padma Bhushan and an Alumini of PEC, Jaspal Bhatti. This cultural night saw medley of dances, song performance and a skit – Who let the dog’s out, dedicated to this Actor, Director and Producer. The skit performance which depicted a satire on the Indian society was a tribute to this very famous satirist of Indian history. A short video glorifying his never ending work and contributions toward cinema and society was also displayed which highlighted his clips from his famous show “Flop Show”. The event also had a small impersonating session by Himanshu Goyal who impersonated Jaspal Bhatti ji. This event was hosted by the Dramatics Club of PEC and the performances were put together by them in dedication to the founder of the dramatics club of the college. This event which lasted for about 90 minutes was attended by Madam Savita Bhatti, Wife of Jaspal Bhatti ji and his son, Jasraj Bhatti.
