PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW. I have it from an inside source I wont name that almost all memes, these little digital placards on facebook etc, but especially the share if you agree or share if you remember this are done purely to get you to click like and share because it increases the value of the originators page or site or fb identity--which they then SELL. You can sell those things, for like two hundred bucks, if you get enough viral notice--for more than that. Up to a thousand. So the point is, people sharing think theyre engaging in some kind of consensus, some kind of media confirmation of a belief or idea or memory, but really theyre being used by someone to make money. Click farming, and information about your demographic, likes and dislike, these are other commodities that can be harvested through share if you like etc. There are people hired to make these things up all day, using specific techniques, a designated number of words, certain hotbutton issues. They actually are not interested in those issues, those memories. They are simply paid to come up with these things.
