PERMANENT POSITION - We are looking for a core crew of Structural Bare Wire Mig/Stick Welders 135 GMAW/111 SMAW to be based in an Aberdeen Fab shop and go offshore as required with the competed jobs. The successful welders will be fab shop based but also required to go offshore on a regular basis not only in the North Sea but world wide to places such as the USA, Europe, Cameroon, Nigeria & Australia to mention a few of the locations where their staff are currently working. A premium rate will be paid whilst working on site or offshore. This is an excellent opportunity for someone living in Aberdeen, wants a steady long term job but also wants to see the world and spend some time offshore. Fab shop rates are £15.50 Basic (39 hours) plus 28 days paid holiday per year including 8 statutory bank holidays. OT1 whilst in the shop after 39 hours Mon - Fri & first 4 hours Sat is £23.25. OT2 whilst in the fab shop after 4 hours Sat & all day Sun is £31.00 per hour. PREMIUM RATE ABOVE AVERAGE WILL BE PAID WHILST OFFSHORE AND OVERSEAS. We are unfortunately not able to take anyone on a temporary basis or ltd co. You must go PAYE as an employee. Its a great opportunity. We are weld testing over the next 2 weeks.
