PERSATUAN WARIS LINGGI ( Kaum Kerabat Linggi ) Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah to all who attended and to all those who were unable to attend the 1st AGM Persatuan Waris Linggi ( we know that their hearts and souls were with us ). I would like to take this opportunity to thank especially Sharifah Talha Shebib who mooted the idea of Kaum Kerabat Linggi FB that attracted almost all waris to it ; Datin Halimah Tan Sri Mohd Said, the PRIME MOVER of the persatuan and Prof. Em. Dato Dr. Ikram mohd Said as the head of the protem committee, who , despite his very busy schedule , with his band of committed Linggians , managed to get the approval of ROS for the persatuan. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our leading waris Ulamak, mantan Mufti N9 ,Y.Bhg Dato Sheikh Murtadza Bin Sheikh Hj Ahmad , for mendoakan our newborn Persatuan ; our ADUN Linggi , Tuan Hj. Abdul Rahman bin Mohd Redza for merasmikan our Persatuan and all other support . The presence of Dato Muda Linggi , Tuan Hj. Mohd Basri bin Omar, Exco & ADUN Ampangan, Y.B Dato Hj. Abu Ubaidah bin Mohd Redza , Datin Datin and other dignitaries were a huge moral booster to the Persatuan . However, the real boosters and a big salute goes to all the WARIS who were present and not present , because without your enthusiasm and strong support , there would be no Persatuan . Special thank you goes to Pengetua Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Datuk Hj. Muhammad Yusof , Tuan Hj. Mohd Ramli for allowing us to make use of the schools facilities and not forgetting (how can we forget) the versatile MC, Chegu Izzudin, without whom the historic occasion would be dull . I thank all the WARIS for selecting and endorsing a formidable lineup of AJK and I/we pray ( berdoa ) semuga ALLAH merahmati usha dan niat murni semua waris linggi dan penyokong waris Linggi . Aamiin. Wassallam.
