PF Youths to Give Sata Court Escort Patriotic Front youths say they will always be at court to escort President Michael Sata whenever he makes a court appearance. PF Lusaka District spokesperson Stanley Chumya said they were fully behind President Michael Sata’s decision to personally appear in court and testify against Daily Nation editor Richard Sakala in a case the Head of State has sued for defamation. Chumya said they will always mobilize themselves to render support to President Sata at the court premises. The move puts police in an awkward position who had recently warned opposition UPND cadres from accompanying their leader to court to render solidarity. Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili had also condemned the appearance of cadres at the court premises but may have to swallow his words after cadres from his own party trooped to court to escort President Sata. A court official suspected to be a PF cadre ran into a group of UPND cadres at the Lusaka Magistrates Court last week, injuring eight as they went to render solidarity to party President Hakainde Hichilema. zambiareports/2014/05/22/pf-youths-give-sata-court-escort/
