PHC for Jess this is my first HC: It was almost time for the sorting ceremony; first years piled off the Hogwarts Express and peered around. Being night it was harder to see long distances in front of them. Jess closed her eyes sealing her anxiety. What if I am sorted into Slytherin, she thinks shaking her head. Opening her eyes she searches the crowd until she finds a friendly face. Hogwarts very own Keeper of Keys Hagrid. Hagrid said something and the first years climbed into their boats. Crossing the river Jess kept mainly to herself until a friendly voice boomed in the distance. She peered up and spotted the castle. It was amazing, magnificent….she couldn’t believe she was here. Getting out of the boat she paused a few moments. “An what’s wrong wit ya?” Hagrid asked. “What if I’m sorted into Slytherin?” To that Hagrid started laughing with made Jess feel more at ease. “Slytherin? No you don’t worry ‘bout that.” Joining the rest of the group they entered the Great Hall for the sorting ceremony, the rest being Hufflepuff history. Aparecium
