PHOENIX STAFF, FAMILY, FRIENDS, STUDENTS, EVERY ONE please read this Spoke to a retired trooper late Thursday night who has been on the village since 1996 when his son during chemistry science fair found ecoli in one of the wells that was shut down. Then he told me where actual location of well was and thats on way out of town where people fly the model airplanes. The well is in the middle of the swamp. He said u can actually see whirlpool. Then he tells us that at least three people on chestnut have or died of bladder cancer, that other neighbors experience unexplained skin rashes or redness in eyes. He said village doesnt test for blue green algae which it should bc the well collapsed and thats why all the surface water is leeching in well. The man and his wife told rick and I so much that I cant remember it all. I think it was tested and found but is not one of the ongoing tests. Some of the bacteria is not dead even if you chlorinate the hell out of the water. He told us to get carbon filter that it would help us in shower. The mayor was given papers at board meeting asking him to resign. He physically ate the document in front of everyone, Hes been complaining for years to the state, county and even Ritchie and Barclay so when they say no complaints it is truly b.s. The man has boxes of info compiled over the years that I want to get my hands on to scan so it wont be lost. So, after hanging up we were more freaked out, he even said why people havent pursued being vocal bc the attitude is that the village must be doing something about when they havent. He characterized it as kicking the can down the road. On final note of information from this neighbor and from what I have read the river is leeching into the well too. It looks like whats happening to us got the DeFrancsico law firm interested. I dont have a petition (yet) but the meeting is Tuesday at 7 at Sweet building for the vote on our water problems.Im reaching out to get as many people as possible to be there. I am still amazed at what I have learned when I started this a month ago after getting water from tap to give to my dogs that set me over the edge combined with my husband and I getting violently ill every morning when we shower and brush our teeth. I knew if this was happening to me I couldnt have been alone. And those stupid politicians in the village telling us after we have complained since moving here nothing was wrong with the water it was hydrant flushing. Ive lived many places and maybe they get flushed twice a year not here where its once a week. Im glad my husband and I are not alone in this some of my attorney friends message me to knock it off but they dont live here and have no clue. I welcome them to come over and drink this unfiltered from my house and of course the response is no. Next thing Im going to do is send an email to every teacher and staff person at the schools. I think they should be involved too bc they and the students drink it and are exposed to it especially with this new virus that is going around that was just in the news.
