Liberty Works. History is not so much on legislations side. Not all legislation is bad. Legislation, good and bad, limits peoples options, restrains free enterprise, causes unnecessary burdens on taxpayers. “Education is not to reform students or amuse them or to make them expert technicians. Hutchins Liberty Offers Opportunities For unlimited competition and advancement through research and experimentation. Legislation corrals people into behavior defined and permitted by public official edict. Education is a classic example. Education Has A Solitary purpose. Control behavior. Education arms people with skills to control their own behavior. Legislation, in contrast, forces people to behave as public officials dictate, not as testing hypothetical discovery leads to their betterment. Because as the NAACP knows better than anyone, the fight for social justice and economic justice begins in the classroom. ~ Barack Obama Few Instruments Of Legislative power allow public officials to control behavior as does direct taxation (property confiscation). We, the American People, were we to abolish direct taxation, would have more disposal income, less burdensome legislation, taxation, and regulation. People Intending To Live In Liberty dont allow legislators - or other public officials within These United States of America, to set limits on interest earned or charged in any financial transaction between private citizens or between private citizens and any financial institution or company not backed by public money.
