PIA-10/BUKIDNON: More than 50 volunteers worked together today for “Bayanihan para sa Kalikasan/Sawaga River Cleanup, initiated by Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Bukidnon Chapter in collaboration with the army’s 403rd Infantry “Peacemaker” Brigade, Kahugpungan sa mga Mag-uuma sa Bukidnon, Brgy officials, and Safe Sawaga Movement. The cleanup aims to inspire communities to host a cleanup event or project that will reduce risk to human health due to the presence of harmful wastes mostly in urban rivers.
