PIA-NCR: Thirty-seven buses were stripped of oversized or obscene - TopicsExpress

PIA-NCR: Thirty-seven buses were stripped of oversized or obscene transit advertisements in the maiden operation of "Oplan Hubaran" conducted by the LTFRB yesterday morning. The stripping operation came as the LTFRB began enforcing new regulations for transit advertising. The unannounced operation sought to apprehend those that have violated the prescribed length of transit ads, up to the point that it has covered the entire body of the bus and already posing security and safety threats. The ads that are not allowed on public transport are those that are lewd, obscene, and offensive, and those that cover the trade name, license plate number, and body number of the vehicle, or that which makes it difficult for the riding public to identify the bus.
